Achieve complete accuracy in your transmission line calculations with Lossy Transmission Lines. With the advent of increasingly powerful calculators, why limit yourself to transmission calculations that assume losslessness? Now get first-time documentation of the calculator codes for determining transmission on lossy lines and an overall analysis of such transmissions. You'll learn about the effects of dielectric and metal losses on power transfer and pulse distortion in the presence of mismatches. Design engineers - with this book and an HP 41 CV - you'll master calculations of transmission and reflection at discontinuities and understand power transfer, matching in lossy lines and the use of sections of lines in bandpass filters. Strengthen your understanding of the material with the problem sets and calculator codes provided for their solution. Order Lossy Transmission Lines and upgrade your degree of accuracy.
General Background. The Lossless L C Line Model. Traverse Dependence of the Fields. Losses. Generalized Tansmission line. Line's End. Matching. Chapters 8, 9, 10. Appendices.
