Li Tan is an assistant professor in the Department of Engineering Mechanics at the University of Nebraska. He earned his M.E. in civil engineering at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China and his Ph.D. in macromolecular science and engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
