Yasaman Bahreini is a consultant specializing in technology development and business executive leadership in the communications industry. Specializing in physical layer (PHY) architectures, she has served on various industry standards committees developing specifications for 3G, and wireless local and personal area systems. Her most recent contributions have been focused on UWB activities within various standard groups. She was a U.S. delegate to the ITU-R on UWB technology. Yasaman is a Senior Member of the IEEE and holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from George Washington University.
