is an associate professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at the American University of Sharjah, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. He is also an adjunct associate professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Calgary, AB, Canada. He received his B.Eng. in electrical engineering from the Ecole Nationale d’Ingenieurs de Tunis, Tunis, Tunisia, his M.Sc. in electrical engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, Universite de Montreal, Montreal, QC, Canada and his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Calgary, AB, Canada.
